DESCRIPTION

With its solid build and versatile electronics platform, the S2 Standard 24 is a true players guitar that handles as well as it sounds whether its plugged straight into your amp or run through your pedal board. The S2 Standard 24s solid mahogany body and set neck give this guitar a distinctive resonance and powerful sustain, and when mahoganys rich, round, warm tone meets the Maryland, USA-made 58/15 LT pickups, there are plenty of clear highs and strong mids to be dialed in. The subtle aesthetic of mahogany and vintage vibe of pickguard-mounted electronics give the S2 Standard 24 an understated look for players who prefer a stripped-down approach to their music. The original PRS Standard, introduced in 1987, evolved from Paul Smiths pre-factory all-mahogany guitars. Reimagined here for the S2 Series, the Standard 24 is gig-ready with a price tag to match.

After ten years, the PRS S2 Series is being updated with USA-made pickup and electronics for 2024 (and beyond). We are proud to bring this added value to what has become a fully integrated part of our manufacturing line and product offering.

SETUP & INSPECTED BY OUR TECH TEAM

All of our guitars come with a FREE professional setup to a comfortable action as specified by that instruments manufacturer. Our setups always include inspection of (and necessary adjustment to): action, intonation, tremolo angle, truss rod, frets, nut, bridge, and more. We can accommodate special setup requests – additional charges and/or shipping delays of 1-2 business days could occur.
